Introduction

Hello, and welcome to my blog. This is a place for me to share my thoughts with the world, whenever I feel my thoughts are worth sharing. I'm not one for long introductions, so I'll just put down some things you should probably know:

  • This blog is as-needed. I created this blog so that if I do have thoughts I want to share with the world, I have a place to put them. Of course, the kind of over-thinking marathons I go on which provide content for this blog are hardly ones I create on demand, so I do not plan on holding myself to any kind of specific schedule.
  • This blog is not topical. It's called "Overanalyzed" because that's what I do with a lot of things, especially the kinds of things I'm likely to post about here. But as for what I post about, that could range from book and movie reviews to political and moral discussions. Like I said, this is mostly a medium to get thoughts out of my head and onto paper (so to speak) and share them with the world, whenever I feel the need.
  • I am a Christian. More specifically, I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The reason I'm mentioning this here is because my belief in the doctrines of the LDS church is fundamental in my view of life, in every aspect. So this will likely come up often. I hope that my readers are understanding of my beliefs, even if you don't agree with them. I'm happy to discuss and share thoughts with people who disagree with me (in fact, I think it's very important that we as a people do so, and it makes me kind of sad that it's becoming something of a lost art), just so long as we can be mutually respectful (also, a waning societal characteristic). So if you're going to ridicule or insult me for my beliefs, please don't bother reading. But otherwise, I welcome people of all religious persuasions.
  • Discussions wanted! Really, I like to think of this blog as me starting a conversation with my thoughts on a topic, but a conversation with one participant is as depressing as it is definitionally wrong. So please, comment, or reply to me on Facebook (if you know me) or write a response on your own blog, then send me the link! I look forward to it!
So, with that all out of the way, let's get overanalyzing! Thanks for visiting!
